Nutmeg, Variegated Slate Blue, Water color green, 2-D blue, and Licorice in layers. Has a celadon-like quality with some translucency.

George,

I love how the glaze broke  on the sweet spots, lip, rim, handle. This is a keeper for sure.

Yes, Donna, that is the Water Color Green recipe. Glaze Layers:

  1. Dipped mug in bucket of Nutmeg for a fairly thick coating.
  2. Sprayed Variegated Slate Blue over the Nutmeg medium thickness.
  3. Sprayed Water Color Green over the VSB thinly.
  4. Sprayed 2D Blue to barely cover the other glazes (very thin). 2D Blue is known to make a "snow flake" effect on top of some other glazes if not sprayed too heavily.
  5. Sprayed Licorice on the upper inside and included the rim.

Following are a couple of examples of Nutmeg and Water Color Green from several years ago. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that I didn't use any Variegated Slate Blue on either of these mugs. The one on the left has been one of my favorite mugs, but the new one above may replace it.

Is this it?  The comment says that it is very runny and must be put on thin.  Am I correct that you spray your glazes?
