Jennifer, Thank you for sharing this glaze with me. Here it is on one of my lidded jars on cone 5 brown clay. It has a few pin holes on this clay; not so much on my cone 6 clay. Looks and feels like honed marble. Im still working on amount of coats to put on, and the right amount of water in the bucket! thanks again,

juli

Hi Juli,
This is the recipe.
Enjoy

Frosty Satin Matt Glaze
(Book Greg Daley base glaze E, "Glazing & glazing techniques")

nephiline syenite       60
whiting                        18
talc                             14
kaolin                          18

Airbrushed onto pot
1/2 tspn Copper carbonate
3 tblspn water approx

Mix and spray lightly onto the base glaze.

Comments: Very pretty, maybe thin down the base glaze a little to maintain more detail in the sculptured area.

The glaze looks like Milk Glass and the Copper airbrushed on it gives it the look of a really old antique, nice work.  Denice
