FOOD FOR THOUGHT -

Here's a little insight into how people get to MY etsy site. First- I spend a lot of time and effort to drive traffic.

  1. Etsy - by sheer volume is the main source of traffic to all seller's sites.
  2. The second comes from people who type MY url in - this is from marketing messages I send out with links to my store, biz cards, links to my url.
  3. The third comes from FB ads that I run on and off that are very targeting to specific items.
  4. Next is Etsy Mini that I have embedded on all of my sites - good little tool but you need some traffic on the site where you put it
  5. An very tiny ad I run on a Yarn site - Ad is for my yarn bowls
  6. Then Pintrest
  7. Lastly Google

Just thought I would share this with you all.  Opening a store is just a small bit of getting people to your site to buy on Etsy.
