Help with Mason Stain 6021

I love rich, primary colors and i get them successfully though using Mason Stains in a 20x5 glaze base. Wollastonite, FF3134, Silica. EPK and Felspar G200. They all do beautifully in this base…Continue

- What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
- I recently became a full time potter. Being a full time artist has always been a dream. Pottery landed in my lap 10 years ago and I have played with it but now I am becoming serious. Just recently I purchased a building that was perfect for a pottery studio. Now I have the time and space to explore, play and enjoy creating. I am excited about the process.
- What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
- my studio is home to two Electric kiln. A rather large one and a small one. Both are older then the hills and rely on knobs and kiln sitters!
- All our content is viewable by the public. Why do you want to be a member, when you can already see everything as a non-member?
- Ideas on how to work better with glazes. I am just now venturing into the world of making my own glaze. I have an electric kiln and prefer to hear from and help other electric kiln users.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.

ebay is a great alternative for many tools and the equipment used in the ceramics studio - kilns, wheels, extruders, slab rollers are often listed there both new and used.
