Haven't found the formula yet, before I dig deeper I believe the recipe calls for lead, do you use it? We can't buy it in the U.S. it's banned, I work in electric C6 and some C1 Majolica, I do a lot of tile fountains, murals and sculptural pottery. I found a recipe I thought you might like Raku Blue it gives spectacular copper luster from blue to yellow-green. Frit 3110----70 Colemanite----5 Silica----10 Soda Ash-----10 E.P.K.----5 Copper Carb.----2 to 3 percent. I'm not sure what names your chemicals are sold under, this recipe is at least 40 years old. I am interested in finding out what type glazes that you used on your murals. I am designing a new fountain and looking for fresh ideas. Denice
I enjoy seeing pictures of your work that you post, I have never quite figured out how to post here. George Lewter tried to help me but he couldn't figure out the problem was either. I use to send people to Ceramic Monthly Forum to see some photos but they changed the site last week and lost my photos. Have you fired your new raku kiln yet, in college I did a semester of raku glaze testing. One of the glazes was named after me I think's it's called Demuth's Purple Passion. If you want to try the recipe I'll dig it up for you. Denice
