Profile Information

What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
I have been involved with clay for the past 50 years. I started at age 12 slip casting molds for my mother's ceramic business. I was introduced to the wheel at age 14 by a local potter. I have been a full time potter and instructor for the past 15 yrs. I have been working on surface decoration with glaze for the past 10 years.
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
Full time potter with 10, 7.5 and 3 cubic foot electric kilns in my studio. Computer and manual fired. Current project is exploring reduction looking glaze effects using an electric kiln.
All our content is viewable by the public. Why do you want to be a member, when you can already see everything as a non-member?
I come from a family of teachers and am one myself. I want to contribute to the group by sharing my experience and results.
