The History of the Tie

I served as a pall bearer at a friend's funeral this weekend and for the first time in a decade or more, I wore a tie. During the downtime of the funeral I found my mind wondering about the history of the tie. How it came about. When was the first instance of ties being common, etc.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.

Very nice collection of work. I believe you now own the record for the most photos posted in a short period of time. If you are planning to document them per Eleanor's request (and all the rest of us who will be begging for details), please start with the cone 6 oxidation pieces and oxidation multi-fired pieces. Your strong entrance into the cone6pots network has earned you complimentary membership for the next year.
