_ Metallic look and feel, but not much mirror or gold color.

Even though there is not much sign of gold it does make the sculpture took like it's been sheared out of a thick piece of metal. Denice

The Metallics that I fired were all low temp and yes they all run! What are the other components in your kiln wash?

Metallic Mirror runs, even with a very thin application. But surprisingly very little more with a very thick application.
Fortunately we use a kiln wash which is 50% alumina hydrate which totally repels glaze.
I also have cork to attach to the finished base with DAP Weldwood industrial contact cement.

I like the top part that has the blue but as you mention not much gold, also not very uniform and looks like it ran!

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
