very nice and great explanation. another question if I may. Have you had occasion to add a long over-sized straight pin on any such as a hat pin or coat pin might have. I have seen them with a twist on cap that goes over the pin point after it is inserted in the sweater, coat, hat, etc. This is something I have wanted to try but have been unable to locate a pin that would be usable. Thanks. PS I think the buttons you have mounted on the cards make an extremely nice presentation. -carl

Buttons can be pierced (the kind w/holes), self-shank (bump w/hole on back of the button), or... pin shank: the button has a single hole, center, through which a metal pin, with a head, is passed, extending out the back of the button, where it's rolled into a loop.I make mine out of copper wire snipped, melted with a torch until it beads up, pickled & polished, then passed through the button, trimmed & formed.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
