I am happy to upload the PDF that I took out of Glaze Master software. I like to analyze the formula before making the glaze to be sure that there will be enough silica and alumina to not leach out copper. The analysis shows this is high in calcia which should have made matte...

If it is not for functional ware Pinnel's Seafoam (cone 6 ox) is a pretty matt turquoise. It is his attempt to make Pinnel's Weathered Bronze Green a true ^6 glaze but it is according to either Ron Roy or John Herselberth (forget which) less stable (which is why I say for non-functional pieces. I really like this as a glossy turquoise.

No, these are my test tiles for a matte turquoise. The #s indicate the coats of glaze. THe photo does not show it well but the 3 coats is very glossy. That did not bother me as I loved the color.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
