Most are Panama Red.  A few are done with a copper/rutile wash on clear glaze.  I have other reds that I've used successfully in the past but now pretty much use Panama for simplicity's sake.  I'm running out of room in my studio for anymore buckets of glaze.

I start reduction at cone 012.  I keep the reduction at around .6 on my oxyprobe up to the end at cone 6 flat, although at this point I don't need the oxyprobe.  No soaking and no pre-heat.  Firing takes around 7 hrs.  Mine is a fiber kiln that looks like an updraft (no stack or bagwall) but is a downdraft.  http://craigrhodes.us/Mt._Pleasant_Studio_-_Craig_Rhodes/Kiln.html

That is rediculously beautiful! What is your reduction firing schedule? Updraft or down? I do cone 6 reduction in an updraft olympic and use a glaze called Selsor Red, but I'm currently mixing up a batch of Panama Red! Do you have any other pic of this glaze?

Jar 14" high.  Standard #356 cone 6 porcelain.  Sprayed Panama Red copper glaze.  Fired in reduction in a propane fiber kiln.
