Okay guys, found it.It's actually a base recipe with color options. I included all.

METALLIC GREEN

This metallic luster glaze looks awesome on clays with iron - Laguna’s Electric Brown, Hawaiian and Standard’s 266 Brown or over engobes or stains made from red iron oxide. Both the Sky Blue and Ocean variations also produce metallic lusters and look best on iron rich clays, stains and engobes. Three brushed-on coats really cover well; if more translucency is desired, one heavy or two lighter coats do the trick.

BASIC RECIPE

  • Frit 3269...........27.0%
  • Laguna Borate.......15.0%
  • Spodumene..........40.0%
  • EPK............18.0%

 ADD:

  • Bentonite...........2.0%
  • Brushing Medium.......1.8% [add if brushing]

For green and blues see colorants below:

METALLIC GREEN

ADD Colorants:

  • Cobalt Carbonate.......1.5%

METALLIC OCEAN

ADD Colorants:

Thanks you for the kind comments. The hand-work is all clay, no wire. Darlene, I can tend to be detail oriented and enjoy getting lost in the sculpting work. The little coils are fine coils of clay rolled around a pencil. Set just 'til they can be handled. The glaze is one of my favorites which I make from a recipe, not pre-made. Willing to share.

Yes, Outstanding!!  Is this glaze a commercial one or one from a recipe?

Comment by George Lewter on July 19, 2013 at 12:11pm

Beautifully done. Are the tiny coils clay or wire?

Tina, I love this bowl. How on earth were you able to create such a delicate and intricate pattern? Is the glaze Floating Green from Mastering Cone 6 glazes?

Great work!
