Thanks Juli
I like all your new work very much, and the liner glaze and outside glaze looks good to me. More places for runny effects, like you said. Maybe if you look at it again in a week or so, you might not be as hard on your self. Im that way sometimes., also.

The only thing I don't like about my newest stuff is I didn't control the liner glaze and the outside glaze meeting well and I have these runny effects of brown, which I don't care for. I will fix that in my next firing.
Thanks. I have been experimenting with iron heavy tenmoku glazes with other glazes on top of them for these type of effects. Really enjoying them. I sprayed(with mouth atomizor) from bottom thick to mid, so it has a fading effect instead of a straight dip line. I really like the way spraying gives you much more control of application. I can't wait to get a spray gun soon.
Beautiful tea dust like effect over rich color.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
