Probably. I haven't used this glaze in a long long time. It is a wonderful glaze but I lost interest in it.

Henry, I slow cooled it drastically to get it the semi matte color. I also probably used a different red iron oxide than you. I used a synthetic RIO that has colorant in it.

Can you post your variation of this glaze?  I used it some time ago but could never get it to loo like the reddish semil-matt glaze in the original article.  So I found another  similar glaze, bird's matt white, yellow, and red variations, from an earlier Clay Times article (^6 ox).  Would like to know how you got Bush's glaze to come out as seen in your postings.  Thanks - Mikpo Pottery

See George's comment below. It is a variation of Richard Busch's recipe, with my 15 hour cone 6 schedule.

The brush marks are a RIO stain, 50 GBorate and 50 RIO. I don't usually use Grestley Borate, but I don't mind on stains as I like it nice and thick because I can just dip my brush in water to adjust the thickness.

This glaze looks familiar but I can't quite place it.  Did you use ROI and frit mix and brush it on bisque to get the darker section on the Yunomi.   Denice

Very good! Yes it is his glaze combination. Although I used iron stain instead of the MnO based stain. I have the ingredients for it, but I am not sure if it is worth the difference in color. I might mix up some eventually.

I am loving the glaze combination because my true heart wants to do woodfired, but I can't due to the location I live. So I will just continue to use these and adapt other colors in with it. This is probably my most favorite piece I have made to date.
