I use Smooth White, from Tucker's (Canadian company). It was fired to Cone 6, no hold.

Yes, it's definitely green not blue. The lighting in this pic isn't helping, but the one I posted of the large platter is a good example of how the colour turns from pewter to a green hue.

green? I'm looking at a creamer and lidded sugar bowl- looks like it's pewter and a midnight blue (like a the crayola crayon midnight blue) I do, however, see the green in the other pic you posted. Maybe the set is reflecting blue from somewhere off of the pewter?

Yes they are only pewter. The glaze has some deep green in it at times, which makes it appear like two glazes. I'll post another pic so you can see it again in different lighting, since this one isn't very good.

Are these ONLY pewter, or is pewter the base, or the top coat? If it's layered, what is the other color?

Pewter is a great glaze, and is purchased by the pound at Standard Ceramic Glazes.

As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
