Sorry to bother you eleanor. I just uploaded these pics with the intention of listing details over time. I can't do it all at once. My brother-in-law just committed suicide and I've been involved in funeral arrangements etc. so haven't had much time to spend on other things. Photos necessarily come first, listing details without "just" a photo would be unhelpful.
This is cone 6 porcelain with sprayed on clear glaze then sprayed copper carb slip mixed to tea consistency over the clear. Then sumi brushwork using a rutile/iron slip over the copper carp. Fired in propane fiber kiln at reduction to cone 6 flat.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
