Thanks Juli,

I haven't been able to reproduce it exactly.  It so far has come out a little different each time.  I will keep at it.  It just takes time.

Hi Joe,

I don't normally have any issues with re-firing & blisters.  However, the moly layer that I am adding is a low-fire glaze & I am taking it to ^5, so it is usually pretty glassy when it comes out. When I have blisters from a first firing, I try to layer a higher fluxed glaze over it & re-fire & do a 125C/hr. cool down so that they have plenty of time to smooth out before solidifying.  Of course you want to stay away from glazes that tend to give off a lot of gases when you are doing a re-fire anyway.  jhp

Do the blisters happen when it is refired? Any luck getting rid of them with more firings? Thanks, Joe Shaw
