Thanks guys. It is a circular piece designed to be shown on a turntable and I don't know what happened to the title - it is actually called 'Pennine Journey'. As the piece turns, so the horizon line changes and you get glimpses of the other images rushing past - just as you do when journeying through the countryside in a car. I live 'one hill away' from Bronte Country in Pennine Yorkshire.

The colours are combinations of oxides and glazes which are brushed on over and around the bisqued on images depending on their transparency and layered to create additional tones and textures. I have attached a couple of other images of the piece.

I am very intrigue by this piece - I like it a lot - It seems very complicated (to achieve) - the form/texture/colours.  How did you applied the various glazes?

Great work congratulations!

I really like this piece I want to believe that there is a hidden city just beyond the entrance and there is a interesting story of secret to learn once inside.     Denice
