Hi Jeff, this is Denice E. Demuth  I was wondering if you have tried to get on Ceramics Monthly Forum lately,  My computer won't let me, it claims that Ceramics Monthly has a virus. I was just wondering if it was Ceramics Monthly or my computer.  I noticed a old post I sent to you Feb 2014, I was telling you how I was cleaning and putting a mural in the drying cabinet.  This week I am installing brick like tiles that have kiln cast glass medallions as a flower pattern set in them.  I am not sure if it is a grill or a mural. I taught myself glass casting using recycled glass.  Each glass medallion looks like the bottom of a old wine or beer bottle.  I had to throw, bisque and seal each mold and then break the molds off to get the glass out. Each glass firing took 18 hours,  I had to stay with the kiln the every time,  none of my kilns are programmable.  I am getting ready to start on another mural,  I wanted to do something fun but they want a landscape. I am thinking of making it with different clay's but I need to do some testing first. I just finished firing another tile project that is made with three different clay's it will be installed in a few months. Let me know what you are working on and if you have heard anything on the Ceramics Monthly problems.    Denice

    Hi Denice

I did a search and it went right to their new website. It said I had to reset my account since it was a new website. We built a new house a couple of years ago and all my pottery stuff is in storage. While doing the landscaping I suffered an aortic dissection. It’s a miracle I’m alive.  I’ve had 2 open heart surgeries but this next year I will be getting my stuff out and my studio rebuilt. I’m having to take it slow but it will happen. I so want to throw again and do some glazing!  Jeff
