What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
I am a full time mother of 2 and part time self taught studio potter. I also work part time in a local ceramics supply store in order to meet and learn from other area artists.

Katherine, I also am playing with the Opalescence/Underglazes, using my mid range firing. I haven't gotten anything really wonderful, but you can fire your mid range pottery with the Amaco underglazes on them (single fire to cone 5 or 6), then put the opalescent glazes over and fire again to 04.

Their response should be interesting, but best thing is to experiment yourself. Good luck. Let me know what you find.
