What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
I took many classes at the local community college and end up being the ceramics technician there for a couple of years. I now have a nice home studio that I feel I need to justify by getting more serious about my business intentions with clay. I have an Etsy store - www.etsy.com/shop/KathyGCeramics , and my niece has offered to help me create a website of my own. My church friends talked me into hosting a Ladies Clay Day, which turned out quite well. Now I need to check insurance costs for having small groups in the studio as another possible business opportunity. No more than 8, though; 18 was a bit much!
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
potter using an electric kiln firing to cone 6 - making and selling ceramics and testing glazes. I do plan on finishing building a gas kiln that I plan to fire to cone 6. It will be interesting to see what differences there will be in the glazes :)
