Looking for creamy white glaze for red clay

Hi All,

I have seen this glaze several places.  But no one willing to share.  The sample in the pic is cone 10 gas.  I'm looking for something to fire cone5/6 electric.  I will be using it over an iron heavy red clay,  Redstone by standard.

There are several silky/satin whites that fire to cone 10. Leach white is one of them. here's a link

Now the point is to bring this down to  cone 5/6, google is your friend, but till you make friends there,here's a  white you might like

Thanks for the reply.  I always forget to check clayart.  Thanks.  I think I'm going to try the Pam's Frost and go from there.  I will post my results.  Will be a month or so, going on vacation.

This is my oyster glaze I use it here over white stoneware cone 6. I like how it breaks over edges. I have never used it over a dark clay but it might work.

Rutile …...............8
Chrome Oxide ..0.02

Maybe you can skip the the chrome oxide I can't remember why I added it. It is a minuscule amount but you definitely need a lot of rutile and that's dark rutile.

Thats one great looking glaze!  Thanks for sharing, and the heads up on the "dark rutile".  I only have light, but will be ordering some dark so I can test this glaze!
