- What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
- I first started taking classes at the local JC about 15 years ago and though I don't pay the bills with it by any means, I do sell my work. I fire half my work ^10 in a gas reduction kiln I have access to and the other half ^6-10 oxidation here at home. I recently bought a tiny Skutt Glazetech kiln to do more efficient glaze tests in oxidation.
- What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
- I'm working more and more in electric oxidation and have had some encouraging results. In addition to my tiny test kiln I also fire my larger work in a Skutt 1231PK but I have a long way to go. I'm much more pleased with my form than my surface.
- All our content is viewable by the public. Why do you want to be a member, when you can already see everything as a non-member?
- Most people I find like to be associated with like minded peers as a community. It gives us a chance to talk with others that may understand what interests you and offer you thoughtful insights.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.

ebay is a great alternative for many tools and the equipment used in the ceramics studio - kilns, wheels, extruders, slab rollers are often listed there both new and used.
