What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
My first experience with clay began in college with a mandatory required ceramics class in 2005. Even though I was an art major I thought ceramics was going to be and "EASY" class(oh how wrong I was). I was not to fond of hand building, but once I experienced the potters wheel and glazing...I FELL IN LOVE WITH CLAY!...fast forward to present day...I currently work at a community college as a ceramic lab tech, intern/assist and teach at a studio in the city of Ann Arbor michigan. I also teac ceramics at a art center in Rochester michigan.

As far as selling my work...I did participate in some events here and there, but the past three years I have invested more time and effort into participating in shows and events.

In 2013 I have had sent my local news stations some personalized handmade mugs...they opened them on air and gave me a shout out on their Facebook page as well work for a job well done!

I used that experience as a launching pad/confidence builder and put my work into a small boutique shop in Detroit! My work was welled received by the public and caught the attention of a journalist that wrote articles for the Detroit free press newspaper! She featured my artwork front page of the Sunday!

In November is 2014, I went into the news station to promote a show that I was going to participating in...I created a personalized vase for the news station that aired during my segment and I then presented it to them after I was off air.The piece that I presented to them is now a part of their morning show set!😆.
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
My current involvement with electric fired ceramics consist of cone 6, Firing, with decals(cone 17), and I have experimented with crystalline glazing as well (both con. 6 & 10).
All our content is viewable by the public. Why do you want to be a member, when you can already see everything as a non-member?
because the ceramic community is Michigan is rather small and I would like other influences from other seasoned, experienced potters!
Where do you work on your ceramics projects?
School or college, community center, commercial studio
How did you find this network?
