I think it's fun. I just did another one recently, which I will just use a clear glase on. I didn't spend much time on it. I just use a simple wax resist, so I just get a general raised impression, but this time I carved on top of the relief, and I like the result. For more detailed relief, I received feedback on this website that some use a shellac resist for more detailed work. I'll try to post my bisque.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
