Thanks, Carl.  The "paisley" stamp is a wood carved stamp from India I bought on Etsy, and the round impressions are from the back of a screwdriver....whatever works!! I like to stamp thrown work and use lighter glazes that break nicely on textured dark clay. This glaze is working well for me, now I'll start experimenting with more colors- or layering other colors.  The challenge with layering glazes on texture is to get it to break as well without covering up the images. We'll see...

One glaze.  waterfall brown base (from Mastering cone 6 Glazes, Hesselberth & Roy) with 1% rutile, 3% RIO, 5% tin ox and 8% zircopax. Standard 211 hazelnut brown clay. Looks like toasted coconut to me..
