Louis, here's my firing schedule:
6 segments...
1. 200/0-250 (no hold)
2. 400/0-1000 (no hold)
3. 180/0-1150 (no hold)
4. 300/0-1985 (no hold)
5. 108/5 - 2180 (hold 5 minutes)
6. 150 - 1500 (final)
The guy at Skutt suggested that schedule specifically for waterfall brown and it worked great for me. Also, I am using cone 6 porcelain and it says in the Mastering Cone 6 book that waterfall isn't good on porcelain, but it seems to work for me. I think maybe cone 6 porcelain isn't really "true" porcelain, but what do I know.

Beautiful effect.....how do you fire it? (cone5 with a hold?) My waterfall runs badly. Someone recently made a batch of green rutile and I hated it by itself but will definitely try this combo....THANKS!

That's just waterfall brown with a thick glob of Rutile Green painted on the rim. That's one of my favorite combinations.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
