I have a gallon of that waiting for me in the studio....just haven't given it a try yet. Bought it several months ago....time gets away from me!  I think I need to feel a bit like a magician :)  Wish me luck....It will be a first!

Thanks Louis and Sarah....Most of the credit can be attributed to the wonderful clay I use-Rovins/You Betcha Mix. A porcelain/stoneware mix, very elastic and easy to manipulate. I throw very dry and try to maintain the strength of the clay. Yes Louis ,these are formed by in separate pieces ...I throw of the hump and then randomly join each together. I will see what I can do about a short video??? Didn't think it would be that interesting, but after giving a all day workshop at the area college....people seemed to enjoy  watching the process.

love the free formed direction....I assume these are two pieces assembled.  love to see a video of you throwing these.....it's an art to obtain deliberate chaos.
