by the way I got the recipes from my teacher and she said most work at cone 6 and some in oxidation if you are interested

I am no longer able to do reduction either, I just bought a kiln so I am also doing cone 6 ox. Very new to me but I had done electric before so it shouldn't be that much more to learn! Thank you so much I will definitely check that out!

I do make my own glazes cone 6 electric. I am so disappointed that your Oribe is gas reduction!
When you want to learn you should read Hesselbert & Roy's Mastering cone 6 glazes it is a great book and Hesselbert's program, Glaze Master has a free download to use it for 60 days.

Thank you!! This was done in my Ceramics class in their gas kiln so it is Cone 10 Reduction, the only glaze I used was a classic Oribe glaze, by the way I have the recipe to. :o)

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
