I really like the random cracks in this pot and how they compliment the matt black glaze you used on the interior. What a great matt black glaze. Looks flawless.

Yes, I am pretty much single firing all the time now.  I guess I will bisque if I need to dip multiple glazes, but my mode currently is to pour interiors, wait a while and then spray exteriors and any interior over-coatings. The pictures were all in the cone 6 -7 range.

Incidently this is the first time I used the Matte Black on a good pot.  It came out with a wonderfully smooth texture. It seems very well behaved though I will probably try to get it a little darker.

Really nice effect with the stressed clay and what appears to be a transparent glaze.

Beautiful scrap glaze.  Hope you have lots of it.  Also love the Hannah's Fake Ash results.  Are these single fired?  Cone 6?
