Hannah's Fake Ash, Jen's Juicy Fruit, Water Color Green. C Harris Temmoku inside. Note blistering in the Fake Ash at the upper handle attachment. My one complaint about this glaze.

George,

Very possible. Maybe yellow is one of my favorite cone 10 reduction glazes. It is beautiful orange yellow on Laguna B-mix but often blisters, especially on the joints, on Amado.

Daina, I have done one hour holds with Hannah's Fake Ash and still had blistering on the thickest places. I think it may be reacting with the clay body. I have noticed that it blisters much more on brown stoneware than on the white body (B-mix 5) that I used. It might do better on porcelain, which is what Steven Hill uses.

Is it possible to fire one more time or hold longer than 15 minutes on the top to get rid of the blistering?

Thanks,

Daina
