The three pots in a straight row on the left hand side of the picture belong me, Robert Seele.
As soon as I get some pictures of each pot, I will post them and I think I have a list of what I sprayed on them.

I know what you mean about not knowing what you sprayed. We were so lucky in the September Labor Day Workshop that we only had five students, we actually did have enough time to write down what we were spraying, but it still was hard to do in the heat of the moment with more pots to glaze and others and Steven wanting to spray as well. But it was a watershed moment for me, and I gained knowledge that I wouldn't have picked up in two years on my own.

I believe that the three pots in a straight row on the left hand side of the picture belong to Robert Steele. I seem to remember him saying something about that in a note to Joan.

Hi George,

First, to answer your question, yes, these are Steven Hill's glazes. If you are talking about the three pots on the left side of the picture, they do not belong to me. Sorry, but, I don't even remember what I sprayed on my pots right in front of me. I was scheduled to glaze during the first two hours on the first day and didn't have time to write anything down. It was very intense & I had no idea what I was doing, but I am very happy I attended the workshop. I hope to use the information in the future. If you would like any recipes from the workshop, I would be more than happy to attach them. I just ordered a new electric skutt kiln and I'm very anxious to experiment with oxidation glazes. I'm registered next semester in a Special Topics clay class and I plan to test and hopefully create new cone 6 glazes. Whatever turns out, I will be happy to share.

I'm excited about this network and thanks for creating it. If I don't answer someone's comments right away, it's because I'm not on my computer every day. Since I retired six months ago, I needed to take a break from my computer and all my e-mails, so I'm not avoiding anyone, I'm just turned off.

Looks good, Joan! Steven Hill glazes? Is that a white fake ash on that pot toward the back on the left?
Icould use something like that on my dark stoneware clay.
