It was white stoneware with black iron oxide was under the JJ. I need to revisit this glaze

This is really visually dynamic is there slip underneath giving that extra layer of colour. Or is the clay body a red art kinda colour?

I like how the color variations are directly related to the irregularities in the surface. I've tried using Jen's Juicy Fruit as a modifier, but not alone. On my test tile of JJF the application apparently wasn't thick enough to show the full range of color and surface that you have achieved. I think I will pay a little more attention to this glaze.

Harbor Freight is a great place to find unbeatable prices for better HVLP spray guns with stainless steel parts and serviceable economy models, as well as detail guns, all tested by our members for spraying glazes, as well as compressors to power the guns. As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
