I see my link doesn't work so here's what the post says with the recipe:
How close this looks to Floating Blue I'll leave to others to decide.
I stay as far away as possible from Floating Blue. This glaze comes
close from what I remember. It's a 50/50 combo of two glazes. I've
gotten rid of a couple of tiny amounts of ingredients, but left in
the 2 frits. It is dependable and stable and doesn't require howling
at the moon whilst applying or firing. In keeping with the tradition
of naming glazes after foods (Nutmeg, Licorice, Raspberry), it's
called Blueberry. Fired to ^6 with slow cooling. I've not tried in
on porcelain as ^6 porcelain doesn't exist in Belgium. Usual caveats
about doing your own testing apply. If anyone tries it on porcelain,
I'd appreciate some pics. Good Luck.

The glaze is called blueberry and I found it on clayart: http://www.potters.org/subject90235.htm
It tends to look best on brown or red clays.
The "black matte"is actually unglazed klamath red clay.

As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.

If you just want to spout off, it is best accomplished as a blog posting. If you want to get more guidance and ideas from other members, ask a question as a new discussion topic. In the upper right corner of the lists for both types of posting, you will find an "+Add " button. Clicking it will open an editor where you create your posting. 4/16/2014
