Wow, you folks are going to make me blush. Really, thank you for being so complimentary. This is one of those pieces I could never replicate. I hope its owner appreciates it too.

subtle....elegant...soft.....ease of form...movement....perfect glaze choice

The elements that come off the piece are just additions that have been carved and the lines are just free hand. I found a great tool at the Alfred bookstore that has a serated edge and I find that because of this, the tool doen't "jump" when I'm dragging it across the surface. I use a pencil that can be moistened to draw on the surface to start. Thank you all so much for your kind words.

Linda, beautiful balance of all visual elements, it's rare to see such perfection of form, decorative elements, placement, surface and color...I would have had difficulty allowing this one to leave my possession!

Green Elegance. A very beautiful vessel.

This is a gorgeous piece! The shape, lines and glaze all compliment each other.

Beautiful design....how do you get those sweeping lines? sprigged on?

That's a good idea. I always get overzealous when I'm doing a show and I want to put my best work out, but in retrospect, the money is gone now and so is the piece :(

i have done the same thing- now I have a cabinet in the basement with things I don't want to sell,

if I keep them out I'm more likely to part with them!
