I should add that I only put Waterfall Brown on the top third of the piece so that gives you an idea of how much it ran at Cone 6 too.

It didn't run off but did form a roll of glaze at the bottom.  I think it was pure luck that it didn't run off.  We did have the piece stilted. Waterfall brown is a runny glaze to start with and if applied to thick definitely will get your kiln shelf.

Did this pool heavily at the bottom?  It looks like it pooled on the kiln shelf.  The outcome is lovely though

I make our own glazes so they are not something you would be able to purchase.  The key to the results however, was using a matte glaze first, a clear shiny transparent glaze on top of that and Mastering Cone 6 Glazes Waterfall Brown tweaked for our stoneware clay and firing schedule.
