First Cone 6 Oxidation Tests!!!
These are all my very first tests using my new kiln!! All are cone 6 oxidation. I am pretty pleased. If you have any feedback or suggestions please let me know!! :D

I have seen your tools they look very professional!! Good job!! And I like the chattering on that bowl, I can never get it to turn out right...

Thanks, It was one of my first tries with chattering, I have made a bunch of tools and they are starting to work out real well. I get many variations depending on the tool material thickness and tip I grind on it. The Coyote Mottled blue is very reliable, it always gives me good results and seems to work well with a wide range of clays.

I Use the Mottled Blue also and really like it. Here it is on brown Standard clay on this 10 inch bowl.

:) the 4th one from the other left, .... the brown one:) I use coyote glazes also. I buy clear and creamy matt and then add colorants to get the glazes i want to use, but I also use their premixed wet glazes for accents and brush work. I don't really have the space to mix glaze from scratch.

Well you should be please, very nice results. Are they commercial glazes or mixed from recipe? What is the test 4th from the left, please?

As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
