These are gorgeous, can I pin them to Pinterest? I know there are lots of pictures of your work there.

Wow, I love your organic forms and your glazing is most excellent. You are officially my new favorite Electric Cone 6 potter. Lots of hour to master those throwing/altering/construction techniques and I know how long it take to hone in on glazes that work. Congrats on everything! Wonderful!

Thanks very much for the information!

Thank You Denise...the goblet forms are thrown in two pieces, manipulated while wet and then combined just before the leather hard stage. The bottom foot is thrown right side up and completely closed at the top, this insures a firm base to rest the cup form on...the twist is made before closing.....I will work on that video!

Catherine I am in awe - your work is exquisite.  I, too would love to see a demo.  Are the glasses thrown in one piece?   Have a great summer and hopefully in the fall we will have more time for demos.  Denise

I want to echo the request for a throwing demonstration.  I've been a hobby potter for about 8 years, but still have the full time day job....another 3 years.  I'm fascinated with the twist at the base of the goblets.  I love that movement, just not sure how to attain it!

Beautiful stuff!!!

You can use various sizes of glass depending if you want colors to mix together.over glazed areas...remember some may not be food safe? I usually use it for decorative pieces. Most of the time I sell work in various gallery show. I have an opening several times a year in my own gallery ( a 140 yr old granary building redone by my husband) I do have a website to keep my customers updated on what they will see at these openings. I need to set up a online purchasing link...maybe this summer?? Most all of my sales are repeat customers. I used to do street fairs and such along time ago to pay for my Art Education degree....but no longer interested in that type of exhibiting.  catherinerehbein.com

Yes, I asked as I know you have done that before. What you have done here with this piece is truely a work of art. Everything works! If you ever have the time, it would be wonderful to see a demonstration of how you throw. Also Catherine, do you have your work on Etsy or have a site of your own. The reason I ask, is that it would be nice the opportunity to purchase a piece one day?
