Do you mind sharing the recipe for this beautiful glaze? It reminds me of a cone10 Shatner iron red I used in the past.

Wow, George, I hadn't even noticed that! You have good eyes. This glaze is fired using Steven Hill's schedule for electric fired work. It has to be put on very thickly otherwise it goes to a flat brown. However, it does not run off the pot. The more solid red in the center is where I had to pour the glaze, as this piece was too tall for my bucket dipping from top and from bottom.

Magnificent. Thank you for uploading the full size image file so we can see the glaze details. In addition to the variegation of the glaze, I love the reflection of the photographer and camera in the pot.

Thanks, this is fired to cone six, held for 30 min and cooled slowly to 1700. I really admire your work as well.

As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
