Love the form of this pitcher and the glaze combo is great.  I also use some commercial and home mixed glazes.  Glaze intervention....hahaha  I know that sometimes I feel like I have too much of a palate of glazes and try to downsize. I need to visit some of my glazes I haven't used in a while..re-seive and test again.

I use a blend of home made and commercial glazes.  I have well over 40 different glazes ( maybe I need an intervention?) I work combinations spraying pouring and painting.  I should take better notes but it almost seems that if I do write it down I won't like it.  Ahh the mysterious glazing process.

Cool! I will have to look through the photos if they are still on line of the show to see your work! I may have to try the peacock....I work with a stoneware porcelain mix, maybe I'll have some luck? Good to hear someone else uses Laguna!...although I have been tempted to start mixing again!

I think this one is in a gallery.  I think we were in the "To Go Show" together in Mendo that was the first time I ever did a show where you paid an entry fee.  If I had a larger place I'd offer a place to stay.  The red is a commercial red from laguna with peacock another laguna glaze.  Quite frankly I much prefer the effects I saw on your pieces.  But... it has been my experience that peacock does not like stoneware. White clays only b-mix or porcelain.

Your Very welcome! I bet Mendocino is beautiful....trying to talk my husband into taking the Harley out there some time. With teaching full time I finally started submitting pieces to various call for entries ...it's been fun! The way the glaze fell in this pieces is particularly exciting...very feathery looking...Do you plan on exhibiting it? Do you exhibit at Mendocino?

Thanks!  I've been admiring your work for a bit now.  I saw your stuff at the Mendocino Art Center and was impressed.  I really like the "feel" of your pieces.
