what company do you find has the best results for there glazes, what companys do you like to use. I used to buy my glazes but kept getting really bad results and it just cost to much for crap.

I no longer mix any of my own glazes ...my experimentation is with the layering, application and combinations of these.

Catherine, do you use commercial raku glazes or make your own? You have a nice colour palette here.

Your right Jan...They are Raku Fired . Sprayed glazes and reduced in garbage cans.

No Jan each figure is unique...I begin with an extruded form and then manipulate it! The figure has always been a favorite of mine both in drawing and in clay...It can be such an expressive form!  As a beginning art student my love was in fashion design and illustration........but a required class outside my major changed all that! It has been a love affair ever since :)  Thanks for your complements and interest Jan!

As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.

The critter siphon gun is a spray alternative that is well liked by some of our members, and is available at amazon.
