Its a good idea Rose and we must see the finished result. How are you going to decorate this piece?
Its fun Jan, I throw the body of the vessel separately to the 'collar' the collar I throw baseless cut it off the wheel head and either slap/stretch and add texture (which didn’t really show up on the photo) or add texture and then do the slap/stretch, before attaching it to the body and then with the wheel at a very low speed refine the 'fit' of the neck... then add lugs etc. Love playing with this as it gives a bit more spontaneity or 'Random-ness' to the overall form.

As yet no one has tested and commented on the remarkably inexpensive air brushes at harbor freight.
