What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
Fell in love when I took a class several years ago coincident with retiring and decided to focus on ceramics - my previous crafting experience has been textiles; weaving, knitting, sewing.

Had to take a year off because hubs and I moved from Texas to Oregon, and then covid showed up; nothing was open and the move was really rough.

A few places started letting students in but I struggled with the class/studio environment; lost pots, contaminated glaze, and erratic firing schedules bugged me but the glaze defects due to poor kiln management finally made me go the home studio route.

I'm set up in our garage - wheel, slab roller, and just recently an L&L 18" kiln. And a lot of makeshift tables and shelves.
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
Learning how to fire my new kiln and it's quirks (like it fires *hot*). Working with commercial glazes for now until I figure out the kiln. I'm still searching for my "style" and what direction I'd like to head.
