What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
I graduated in the late 70's with a BFA/ceramics from the "then" Southwest Missouri State University. Upon graduation I taught English grammar and literature in a church related high school for over thirty years. Upon retirement a renewed my exposure and interest in pottery. Currently I pay for space in a privately owned studio (Fat Cat Pottery) in Wilmington, N.C.
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
I work in raku clay for hand building and white B-mix clay for wheel throwing. We fire cone 6 electric. I am a hobby potter, not a professional.

Hi Carl, You are welcome to come out anytime. My studio is almost complete. I just simply have not done the photography and put up photos, but my lighting equipment is in now. I was Steven Hill's resident artist last year and I am also getting the parts together to spray my glazes, 95% there. Here's my phone, 251.367.0367 You are welcome to call. Mark
Thank you! I get so involved with teaching ceramics at my art centers that I forget to post the things I usually demo for my classes. I also perused your photos and really like the pieces where you do painterly patterns and designs.

Thank you for your kind comment, and the welcome. I am retired now, so I have much more time than a lot of folks to play around.
I taught high school art for 36 years, some adult classes, and some grad college classes in education. Jack of all, master of none, sort of guy.
