What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)

I took courses in handbuilding and raku firing from 1995. After that I learnt throwing and glazing at Joop Cock's workshop (http://www.cockkeramiek.nl/home/cursussen)in Bergschenhoek one evening a week for 8 years I also attended courses at La Ceramique since 2002 http://www.laceramique.com/prog.php I have my own kiln and workshop since 2001, first in Holland, now in France.
I mostly throw gres de St. Amand and fire it to cone 6-8. I did experiment with porcelain, terracotta, slibware, raku, pit firing, horse hair, wood and soda firing. My raku firings are mostly social events.

What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)

I design my glazes since 2001 and the journey continues. I started with the book The Ceramic Spectrum and later used all sorts of books and methods (Greg Daly, Ian Currie, Hamer). My kilns fire to 1300C but I mostly fire cone 6-7 electric. For a while I tried crystal glazes but I went back to basics. I glaze functional ware and jewelry.

I like to exchange ideas on glazes and potter's tools and techniques with other potters. I work in relative isolation, so it is nice to inspire each other. I love to experiment and share the results and welcome new ideas and feedback.
