What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
3 years of active potting. I throw and slab all my work. Emphasis on throwing. I have my own wheel and electric kiln. I work from my home in an outside open air "studio". My interests are mainly texture and glaze effects. So far I've only fired with commercial glazes and I've plans to start making my own and trying raku and saggar firing
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
I've had my own electric kiln for 18 months and love working with the effects that combining glazes and firing to various temperatures. My kiln is an old second hand model and I've not had too much of a problem with it. Having said that I recently found out that the temperature gauge is out by 150 deg C. I plan to start using it to fire raku and saggar
