Profile Information:

What is your experience with ceramics in general. (Long answer encouraged)
I began doing pottery in 1966 with the purchase of a kick wheel. It was just a hobby at that time creating works for myself and firing at other's kilns. After my kids were in high school, I got an electric wheel and did both wheel thrown pottery and hand-building, joined a coop and began selling, Then in 2006 I opened an artist owned and operated art gallery with 14 other artists and have been doing pottery since then professionally.
What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
Making hand-built structures with low fired clay and texturing them is my interest.. I've taken classes from Akira Sataki and found I love making pottery that looks like it is carved from rock. I continue to fire my work in a Paragon Janus lion.
