SCM - warm or cool is most used as a base layer, For the strongest rivulet action the fake ash glaze is applied alone often at the top and lapping on top of other blended, feathered layers. I have often used Nutmeg as an alternate base glaze for layering. Other layers depend on mixing effects Jen's Juicy Fruit often has an enhancing effect under or over other glazes. Glossy, saturated, colors get used a lot where pooling action will contrast them with softer, matte glazes. C Harris temmoku, varigated slate blue, Licorice, water color green, green-gray scrap glaze, 5-6 clear, and rutile matte are the core of my more stock glazes.
If you want to spray glazes my best advice is to buy Steven Hill's video, or even better, go to one of his workshops.
