What is your current involvement with electric fired ceramics? (long answer encouraged)
I decorate with colored slips on stoneware white clay, cover with a clear transparent glaze, and fire to cone 6. I want to start experimenting in mixing my own glazes.

Your work is beautiful, How is the glaze formulation coming?
It looks like you have a very nice clear glaze. Are you looking to mix your own slips?
Have you tried using your trimming scraps and a percentage of mason stain?
I mix a peanut butter jar full (aprox 300g) of dry clay bits with 1%-20% stain
1%of 300g is 3g and 20%of 300g is 60g
I like to make tests in small percents 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 % and then with a deep color (like turquoise)there is a great low range .5, 1, 2, 2.5, 3, etc so I can mix just the right color at any time.
Good day, I am RonaId Morris, I saw your profile and I decided to contact you immediately. Can you get back to me on my email (ronmorri01@gmail.com) for full details. Regards.
