To make the network more of a community, members need to feel they have a say in how the organization operates. Members are always encouraged to voice opinions on anything that transpires here. A steering committee was formed to that end, two or three years ago, but it did not go into operation. This is an attempt to reform, enlarge, and energize a group to form a management team for the cone6pots network, so George Lewter can unload some of his functions and responsibilities. 

This group is the private workspace for the committee members use in communicating with each other.

Once the committee begins its work, a discussion forum will reopen for the general membership to post communications to the committee, and for the committee to post notifications and information to the network membership at large. 

Nine invitations to the steering committee are going out. Let's see who accepts, and then we can consider resizing the committee and/or inviting others. 

There were issues with the C6P messaging system that dictate using a space like this, so communications get to all intended recipients.
